Great house with a great view
The old house or barn was beautifully renovated. It is very quiet on a mountain side with only a few other houses towards the southeast. You can enjoy the view from the several small terraces (all with seating). The house is well equipped and important things are well labeled so that everything is easy to find. The pool is large and impresses with its fantastic view of the Ardèche valley; when visibility is good you can also see Mont Ventroux. The landlord is very nice and communication went smoothly. The nearest shop is in Largentière in the Ligne valley, which can be reached in about 15 minutes. The mountain refreshment with something to eat in the evening and for breakfast was great. Together with the bed linen and towels provided (including pool towels), this means you can simply pack your clothes and go on holiday. We can only highly recommend the house.
